Back to School
I really want to stress the need for new committee members. We have a great team already, but we can always use more help. Plus, it will give you a chance to become officers next year. Even though it's been a lot of work, I'm really glad I decided to do it.
Make sure you keep track of your points. It's all in the BECA bible.
What else?
About the FCC, as some of you may know the FCC approved the Bellsouth AT&T merger. Now there’s only AT&T. This means that despite being broken up into a bunch of different companies back in the day, AT&T has reconglomerated (is that a word?) And is bigger than ever. Now they’re not just phones either, they also own a ton of DSL lines and all of Cingular. The republican controlled FCC is taking some heat over the issue from the newly democratic house.
